15 year old trying to advertise as a custom computer builder?
Hey. I’m fifteen, and I have a good bit of custom computer building experience. I’m trying to advertise in Simi Valley, but no one has replied to either my craigslist or recycler ads. How can I make people comfortable with my age? I can beat any price, but no one has emailed me. Help please!

Perhaps they’re concerned that you have no business insurance or that you’ll be off to college in a couple of years and won’t be around to answer their questions.
u can try to put a add online try putting it on ebay or make a website and pput some pictures and some info about your product and how good it is
Advertise in many various places. Make yourself known. Most people are not gonna see you on the internet. While it’s good to advertise on the internet, try getting an ad in the local newspapers around your general area, putting out flyers, and announcements in various places, such as stores who let people post up bulletins and what not.
You don’t necessarily have to mention that you’re 15 years old. People aren’t looking for the age of a person, but for some way of knowing you’re good and reliable. Get some references…people who can vouch for your good work and put them on your flyers and advertisements. Leave your age out, but if they ask, then you should tell them and explain your experience. If you flaunt your age, it will drive people away…not that you’re not any good ’cause you’re young, but that’s just how the world views things.
Also, some more things you might put on your flyers and advertisements is what name brand products you use and recommend. Such as saying: "Intel processors, nVidia Graphics available/used/recommended (or whatever)"
Flaunt your references, products, experience, and price more than your age and people will just come. Leave out your age unless they ask. If they were impressed with everything else first, your age won’t matter.
