How can i get rid of the REcycler.exe virus?
my friend had helped 4 weeks ago…he showed me the steps on how to delete the recycler virus…..it had something to do wit opening the RUN and then typying something that opened a black window like MSdos something like that….does anyone know the steps???? like he helped get rid of it manually…i actually foudn the recycler and deleted it..how can i do it to know if the recycler is there again?? because my computer freezes alot and avg doenst detect that…and by the wway avg always shows me like 200 warnings but never infected files….can someone PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME and save yourself the trouble of posting dumb answers like GO TO THIS PAGE OR DOWNLOAD THIS because i wont do it i just need a professional with a professional answer in here…..i will give points and choose the best answer..thank you

The resycler (its misspelled like that) is a mostly benign worm. Stina’s computer caught it and before we realized she had it I plugged my external hard drive into her computer and then that caught it, and before I realized that my hard drive had it, I plugged it into my laptop and then that caught it. It took one pass with AVG to get rid of it from everything that was infected. It sounds to me like you have another virus (or viruses actually). When AVG shows you those warnings, have it change or delete the files or just move them to the AVG virus vault. Oh yeah also make sure it’s completely updated before you run it. It may ask you if you want to run AVG the next time you start the computer and just say yes and restart the computer. AVG should catch most everything you could have, but for good measure get avast antivirus as well. More likely than not you are also loaded down with lots of spyware and adware. Download the programs "adaware" and "spybot search and destroy". I’m sorry that my professional answer entails things like "GO TO THIS PAGE OR DOWNLOAD THIS" and you refuse to do that, because that’s the only thing that will help you unless you can get your friend to come mess around with your computer again.
Again, like I said before you probably don’t have the resycler worm anymore, you probably have any number of other viruses that are actually harmful to your computer, along with spyware and adware that you will be unable to remove until you get those programs.
its a big virus so talk to a dell store and see what they can do for I can’t do it over the internet.
