install AVG Free version and Malwarebytes.com free version. Should kill anything. Works everytime.
put a anti virus system in that it will automatically remove the virus which you have by just scanning your computer
Recycler.exe virus will attack your drives, both hard disk and removable. The origin name of recycler virus is W32.Lecna.H, a worm that spreads by copying itself to all of your currently active drives. After infecting your computer, it will download potentially malicious code if you connected to the internet. Some anti virus just passed recycler, so you must delete it manually. Here is the method:
1. Open Windows Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del.
2. Select Processes tab.
3. Search and find CTFMON.EXE. Select it and click End Task.
4. Run Search tool. Search CTFMON.EXE file and delete it. Commonly it is located in Startup menu.
5. Open Run tool. Type cmd. The Command application will open.
6. Type cd\.
7. Type attrib –r –s –h +a *.inf.
8. Type del autorun.inf.
9. Type attrib –r –s –h +a recycled.
10. Type cd recycled.
11. Type del *.* and confirm the deletion.
12. Type cd\.
13. Type rmdir recycled.
14. Now the recycler virus is removed from your system drive. What you need to do next is repeating step 6-13 and apply it to other drives.
15. Upgrade your anti virus definition and re-scan your computer.
If the *.inf doesn’t exist probably:
1. The virus that is attacking your computer is not Recycler.
2. The virus has been deleted. In some cases I found that by deleting the CTFMON.EXE file the virus is gone (the computer is using AVG).
Errr…. ctfmon.exe is a Microsoft Office process. You would have it if you have Microsoft Office or similar Microsoft products.
Hang on while I look for more info….
Okay, here are a couple of links for ctfmon.exe:

And for the recycler virus, have a look at this thread:

Don’t exactly follow the instructions for Karinski because often instructions are specific to the infected machine; just read it and get an understanding of what was happening for that person. Malwarebytes is discussed and how to get it to run, despite the virus stopping it. Once you’ve read that over, you may see a way ahead for yourself OR you could get help yourself from Bleeping Computer – start here if you decide to do that:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic34773.html
You may find that Malwarebytes and/or SUPERAntiSpyware or one of the other programs they mentioned will get rid of it.
EDIT:
Oops! Forgot to give you the locations where ctfmon.exe should be – if it’s anywhere else, be suspicious that it’s a virus:
c:\windows\system32\ctfmon.exe
c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386
If you are running Windows 2000, you will have a winnt folder instead of the windows folder:
c:\winnt\system32\ctfmon.exe
c:\winnt\ServicePackFiles\i386
P.S. Aaron is right about looking for and deleting autorun.inf from flash drives and other removable drives – more usually than not, they are what is starting up the virus.
AVG is NOT GOOD!!! I just spent 2 days cleaning a friend’s computer of several bad malware and spyware infections that AVG let thru. Look at Answers’ history. Many people ask what to do about a virus, and they have AVG on their computes.
Goto MajorGeeks.com, you can download for free:
Spybot
SUPERantispyware
Both are excellent scanners and cleaners. and they are free. Spybot also has virus protection available, along with cleaning spyware.
But AVG is hideous for protecting your computer.
Use this site as a guide and remove it for free:
