I have a JVC TV that's about 4 years old. How do I know if it has a digital tuner or not?

I just ordered a new HDTV so I’m not really that concerned. However, it could affect whether I keep this older TV for the bedroom or if I send it off to the e-waste dump.
When my TV is connected to cable without a box, I can still change the channels. Does this mean I have a digital tuner?

Check the Model#. Google it and you should find out. Some sets will say HD or something similar on the cabinet although that is not a 100% answer. If you keep it and are going to use a cable or satellite box, you will be able to use it.
